POLICE HUNT FOR MISSING 10-YEAR-OLD BOY IN NOTTINGHAM

Detectives have made an urgent appeal to trace a 10-year-old boy who went missing yesterday afternoon (Tue).

Oscar Gilbert was last seen in Hucknall Road in Sherwood, Nottingham heading in the direction of the city centre at around 1.05pm.

Officers says they are concerned for his welfare and safety and are asking that anybody with information on his whereabouts gets in touch as soon as possible.

Nottinghamshire Police said the youngster is described as white with short, dark hair and is around 4ft 11ins tall.

He was wearing a blue t-shirt with a floral motif, denim, knee-length shorts with rips in the thighs, no socks and black plimsolls.

A force spokesman said: “If you see Oscar or have any information on his whereabouts please call Nottinghamshire Police on 999 quoting incident number 345 of July 5, 2016.”
