Countdown to Christmas with Cards for Good Causes

Countdown to Christmas with Cards for Good Causes

In the build up to Christmas, Cards for Good Causes is offering a range of advent cards and calendars, making the countdown to Christmas even more magical.

The UK’s largest multi-charity Christmas organisation is selling a range of designs this year, perfect for sharing the holiday excitement with loved ones.

Christine Holland, Chief Executive of Cards for Good Causes says: “As the excitement of anticipating Christmas takes hold, there’s no better way to count down the days than with an advent calendar.

“If you are looking for an early Christmas gift, our advent cards and calendars are just the thing, and are an attractive addition to any shelf, mantelpiece or desk.”

Advent cards combine a Christmas card and a fun advent calendar and are all suitable for posting. They have space inside for a personal message and feature 24 tiny windows to count down the days until Christmas morning — the windows open to reveal a different festive picture each day.

Charity Christmas cards are available from all of Cards for Good Causes’ seasonal shops. With over 300 in its national network, the shops are staffed by more than 6,000 volunteers to help keep running costs as low as possible and ensure that the charities benefit as much as possible from their card sales.

A full range of advent calendars, advent cards and gifts are available from most shops. Alternatively, visit the Cards for Good Causes website www.cardsforcharity.co.uk, which also sells charity Christmas cards on behalf of over 40 charities.

In the past five years, charities have received more than £20 million from Cards for Good Causes – representing at least 70p in every pound out of which charities had to pay for the production and distribution of their Christmas cards and any VAT.
