Site.pro founder Filip Borcov has searched for adventure in many places, from winning three times on the Lithuanian quiz show, Pocket of Words, to his well-documented travels across the world. Despite the crowd-pleasing nature of these global escapades, some of his greatest adventures have been closer to home, including his efforts to create world-changing companies at the forefront of cutting-edge technology and practical value for customers. Site.pro is the product of Borcov’s idea to empower companies looking for reliable web design by using advanced technology like artificial intelligence to simplify the process of creating a new website.
Since his youth, Filip Borcov has had a passion for solving problems and finding new business opportunities. He designed his first revenue model by organizing the bottles he found at a local market and having his brother drive them for 25%. He also developed an interest in programming, which would prove useful when someone asked him to create a website while he was in university. He eventually channeled his personal interests into his first major entrepreneurial endeavor when he founded the online consulting and website development company Profis in 2003.
Profis would serve as the hotbed for over 800 projects for different clients, in addition to the internal projects the company pursued in search of innovation. Launched in 2014, Site.pro was one of the company’s internal projects that eventually served as its platform for solving an important industry-wide challenge that Borcov had identified.
“When you look at the available tools for building a website, the list of our competitors is endless. From Microsoft to Adobe, WordPress, Wix, and you can even create your own website with Google,” Borcov observed. “However, many of these platforms are either too simple, which means the designs don’t look professional, or they’re too complex, which means you need a developer, and most site builders are not made to integrate with existing web hosts.”
Site.pro was designed to fill this need by providing a simple, but powerful website builder that could easily integrate with a web hosting platform. The platform was built on the concept of simplification and its continual pursuit of technological advances is intended to make web design simpler and more efficient. Their stated goal for the future is to build Site.pro into a platform that can “make all operations done instantly,” allowing users to get everything they need from a website or accounting in one second. Borcov has since acquired several patents to serve this end, including one for Site.pro’s unique ability to analyze websites, turn it into an editable template, help the user modify it with AI guidance, and publish the result.
By 2022, Site.pro was the third-most used website builder in Belarus. By September 2025, Site.pro had launched one of the first AI website builders with an AI chatbot capable of editing websites alongside the user. The platform plans to integrate fully AI-powered unified program interfaces, also known as MCPs (Model Context Protocols), into all of its products, adding user-friendly AI assistance to its product experiences.
The following month, Borcov and his team also identified a solution for the seeming impossibility of joining two websites and products with different structures and code after Site.pro merged with Borcov’s other company, B1.It. According to Borcov, the process of transition for the two companies has been ongoing, as the company continues to update the accounting program’s interface and improve user flow. In 2026, Borcov spun the platform out into a standalone company, Site.pro Ltd.
As of today, Site.pro’s website builder has more than 700 resellers, including several companies from the world top 10. From collecting bottles during his youth years to designing software platforms that are utilized by organizations globally, Borcov’s career has been characterized by his ability to challenge conventional processes and look for more effective ways of doing things. The creation of Site.pro demonstrates how this thinking has advanced as technology has progressed, integrating web design with automation and artificial intelligence. In this sense, the technology company known as Site.pro can also be seen as an extension of Borcov’s philosophy. Although the means employed may vary, the goal has always been the same – removal of the obstacles that prevent individuals and organizations from realizing their ideas in cyberspace.
