Immensa Showcases Digital Manufacturing Solutions at ADIPEC 2022

The biggest and most inclusive annual gathering in the global energy production industry, the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC), brings together senior executives and thought leaders from all segments of the energy value chain. In 2022, the event attracted more than 2,200 exhibiting companies, 54 international energy business leaders, and 28 international exhibiting country pavilions to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. From October 31 to November 3, ADIPEC 2022 participants gathered to explore market trends, source energy solutions, and conduct productive business.

ADIPEC 2022

ADIPEC 2022 also served as an exceptional showcase for the latest tech advances in energy production and management. As a global provider of innovative digital manufacturing solutions, Immensa has long leveraged the powerful industry outreach of the ADIPEC platform to introduce new products and services. In the words of Immensa’s CEO Fahmi Al-Shawwa, “This is an ideal platform for us to showcase our expertise and capabilities in developing digital manufacturing solutions in the energy sector.”

At ADIPEC 2022, Immensa spotlighted its proprietary 3D-metal printing capabilities with GE Additive. An arm of the massive multinational conglomerate General Electric, GE Additive is dedicated to breaking new ground in areas related to additive manufacturing (constructing precise objects and functional parts using 3D printing hardware and software).

Working closely with GE Additive as its authorized service provider, Immensa has developed a highly convenient and useful digital method of inventory production and asset creation by precisely printing 3D metal items based on entirely digital CAD (computer-aided design) models. GE Additive has already installed four Immensa-designed 3D printing machines and plans to install a fifth soon.

Immensa’s AM Solutions

Like all of Immensa’s additive manufacturing (AM) solutions, these 3D printing machines were tailor-made to meet the specific and unique wants and needs of the companies that use them. Immensa’s industry-leading AM team works closely with each partner organization to further these ends, from concept development and production sketches to final 3D printing equipment manufacturing and installation. “Our engineers and AM experts ensure that the right AM technology is utilized for each part,” contends Immensa, adding, “AM is complex, and our team covers the entire work process.”

In addition to its pioneering GE Additive work, Immensa used ADIPEC 2022 to showcase its ARGO 500 ecosystems and oilfield-proven applications with the professional and industrial 3D printing company Roboze. The Immensa/Roboze AM solutions on display at ADIPEC 2022 were specifically designed to facilitate downhole oil and gas and turbomachinery that can reach natural resources in geographic areas that were previously regarded as unproductive or financially impracticable for drilling. This focus is conducive to Roboze’s mission to go beyond the Middle East to meet the world’s overwhelming oil and gas needs. Through its advanced 3D printing tech, Roboze provides practical solutions for individual energy sector clients while engendering a larger global transition to more sustainable energy sources.

The international purviews of GE Additive and Roboze make them ideal partners for Immensa – a highly diverse digital manufacturing company with offices in Houston, Texas; Amman, Jordan; Dammam City, Saudi Arabia; Kuwait City, Kuwait; and Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Immensa and its team of more than 100 skilled and knowledgeable AM engineers from these operational hubs are focused on revolutionizing traditional spare parts supply chain and warehousing logistics by dematerializing these networks and their extensive supporting infrastructure within the digital, on-demand realm.
