Sydney Billboard Takes Aim at Albanese, Sparks Backlash

A shocking new billboard campaign in Sydney, created by Australia’s fastest-growing affair site, has sparked a storm of criticism. Displaying the message, “You’ve been letting him screw you for so long, your wife figured it was her turn to cheat” alongside a picture of Anthony Albanese, the mobile ad by Sasha7 has drawn heavy complaints. Sasha7 is a discreet affair website with the tagline, “Married, but looking?”

According to Sasha7’s Vice-President of Strategy: “Despite how this looks, this is not at all a political statement. The Sasha7 team has some people who support Albanese, people who don’t, and everything in between. The goal of this campaign was to spark interest, particularly in women, which it did. Sasha7 has a female first approach. Our research has shown that support for Albanese, especially among women, has significantly declined which is exactly why we ran with the idea. We believe that if we focus on attracting and retaining women first the men will follow.”

With the inflation rate at 7%, average home prices nearing a million dollars, and rising interest rates exceeding 4%, Albanese has become an easy target for critical messages.

The strategy appears effective, with Sasha7 reporting record female registrations since the ad’s launch.

About Sasha7: Sasha7 is a female-focused affair website that promotes an active community of open-minded, discreet, and non-judgmental users. Launched in 2020 Sasha7 became the fastest growing affair site in the world adding nearly 210,000 users in 2024 alone outpacing even sites like Ashley Madison
