Istanbul will welcome the 35th Plast Eurasia this December under Tüyap’s organisation. Under a single roof sit production technologies, raw materials and plastics machinery, and ahead of opening day organisers are stepping up their drive to attract trade visitors from leading European markets.
İstanbul – Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc. hosts Plast Eurasia on 2-5 December 2026 at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul, run jointly with PAGEV and with the support of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Trade. Manufacturers, technology providers, raw material producers, distributors and purchasing professionals are brought into one place by the fair, so commercial ties can take shape right across the plastics sector.
“For 35 years, Plast Eurasia supports the growth and development of the industry by bringing companies and professionals together and helping turn those connections into commercial relationships,” explained İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager at Tüyap Fairs Production Inc. “This year, we want to carry that experience forward by creating focused opportunities for buyers, suppliers and technology companies to meet around the needs of today’s plastics industry.”
European visitor drive gathers pace
Some 90% of exhibition space is already spoken for, with around 3 months to run before the doors open. A turnout of 80,000 visitors from Türkiye as well as abroad is expected, with the trade visitor drive concentrating on Poland, Italy, France, Romania, Greece, Belgium and Germany, plus Middle Eastern and North African markets.
Visitors arriving from Europe in December can meet equipment suppliers, materials firms and other plastics companies assembled at one Istanbul venue. The international visitor programme seeks fresh business contacts, while also supporting companies as they deepen the trading ties they have in place already.
Manufacturing technology, materials and equipment on the agenda
Plastic production machinery, plus raw materials and chemicals, form the show’s two main pillars. Machinery solutions and new-generation manufacturing technologies feature too, with innovation, efficiency and value-added production among the themes that frame the fair’s commercial agenda.
Such a wide product range lets buyers and technical staff review machines, materials and production methods on a single trip, as exhibitors present new products, technologies and industry solutions to an international crowd.
Celebration programme charts 35 years of sector evolution
The 35th-anniversary programme includes a Milestones Map, a chronological display charting the fair’s main stages together with the plastics industry’s own progress. A display of vintage plastics production machines will also show how manufacturing technology has changed across the decades.
At the opening ceremony, plaques go to Kontel Elektronik, Enformak Plastik Teknolojileri and Almak Ateş Makine, a trio present at every step of the fair’s 35-year path, in recognition of their enduring participation.
The Stage is Yours! gives exhibitors 30-minute speaking slots for presenting value-added products, technologies, success stories and sector solutions to visitors.
Guided routes await hosted purchasing delegations
The Hosted Buyer Guided Tour programme helps international buying delegations find the right product groups and exhibitors with less lost time. Buyers taking part get pre-set routes, visits to demonstration and event areas, access to the Hosted Buyer Lounge and tailored support services.
Turkish Airlines, the Official Airline of Plast Eurasia, is cutting fares on qualifying international return flights into Istanbul flown from 25 November to 12 December 2026: 10% off in Economy Class and 15% off in Business Class.
