Filthy lorry drivers are being slapped with on the spot fines – for being caught short whilst on the road.
One loose-bowelled trucker was fined for defecating on the roadside and just a day later another was fined for urinating on a dual carriageway – just two miles away from a service station.
The shameless drivers, both caught in Kent on Tuesday and Wednesday, were given £30 on the spot fines which they paid immediately.
A spokesperson for Kent Police said: “The officers saw the HGV on the hard shoulder and when they pulled up the driver was seen crouching down on the verge doing a poo.
“He stopped as soon as he became aware of their presence, when they sounded their air horn.
“He was subsequently issued a £30 fixed penalty notice for stopping on the hard shoulder, a fine that he paid immediately.”
